Introduction

Newspaper reporter Chi discovers that his car is accident-damaged. As he begins to look into its history, he soon unearths a fatal car crash nine years previously — one that he, himself, was a witness of. Believing that there are things not yet revealed, Chi faces a number of life-and-death situations and has his moral senses repeatedly tested, as he manages to put together the pieces and locate a woman from the accident. However, soon after the woman decides to tell him the truth, she is nowhere to be found.

Gripping suspense thriller Who Killed Cock Robin (2017) is CHENG's second feature film in a genre rarely seen in Taiwan. Its bold plot and execution send chills down the spine, while the fast cutting is akin to American and Hong Kong commercial films, the well-paced editing reveals bit by bit the many versions of truth, along with the many sides of humanity.

Director's Profile

Born in 1984, CHENG is one of the top grossing directors in Taiwan. His 2015 mockumentary The Death of A Security Guard (2015) was an award-winning sensation. His first horror feature The Tag Along (2015) and its 2017 sequel became two of the highest-earning horror films in Taiwan.
