Introduction

Miss Hui, always attired in elaborate dresses, is the object of Hsiao-Jing's juvenile admiration. The only person who knows about Hsiao-Jing's secret is Zhi-Ya, who wants Hsiao-Jing to be her best friend. Zhi-Ya not only offers her dress to Hsiao-Jing as a gift but also shares the untold story of Miss Hui with her. The two girls grow closer as they follow Miss Hui after class together. However, their friendship starts to fall apart when they learn more about Miss Hui's secret...

Director's Profile

Born in Taiwan, WEN Chih Yi is a member of Taipei Golden Horse Academy in
2013 and a jury member of Taipei Film Awards in 2014.
Her television feature film Nyonya's Taste of Life (2007) and short film Sleeping with Her (2009) were selected by domestic and international film festivals and awarded with major prizes, including Best Mini-series and Best Director of Golden Bell Award (2007) for Nyonya's Taste of Life and Special Jury Prize of Muhr AsiaAfrica Short in Dubai International Film Festival (2010) and Best Short Film in Asia Pacific Film Festival (2010) for Sleeping with Her.
The Dress on Her (2016) is her latest short film, which has been selected to be screened in the Generation Kplus competition of the 67th Berlin International Film Festival.
